The actual breakthrough is a candle that smells like a suspiciously successful laboratory: bourbon, charred oak, amber, vanilla, and tobacco, stirred together until the room feels like a very expensive bad idea.
Warm, smooth, and just smoky enough to suggest you have a leather chair and several opinions about leadership. You may use it to focus, procrastinate, or make your workbench look intentional while you move the same pile of papers from one side to the other.

Burn it right
Keep the wick trimmed before each burn. On the first burn, let the melt pool reach the edge of the vessel when practical. Never leave a burning candle unattended, keep it away from drafts and anything flammable, and stop burning when about 1/2 inch of wax remains.
